Quincy was Steve and I's first co-responsibility. She was our first baby, as some would say. We had lots of fun with Quincy over the years and loved her huge. She was a spunky and sometimes (ok, often) bratty little devil with a load of sassy personality. She was full of energy right up to the end.
When Ruby came along, Quincy was very unimpressed. She preferred to be a one dog show, with no competition for attention. After a close call with another child, we knew we had to find a solution. Steve's mom and dad had always adored Quincy and they happily "adopted" her. Quincy was very happy and content with Steve's parents and when Steve's dad passed, she was a constant and loving companion to Steve's mom.
I'm very thankful to Steve's mom for providing her with the quality of life over her last years that she wanted and deserved.
Our whole family loved Quincy and we're all heartbroken that she's gone. She will be dearly missed.

I am so sorry to hear of your dog's passing, it is hard losing a pet, especially when it was your first baby! Cyber hugs!
Oh I am so sad to hear that! I remember Quincy and really missed getting updates on him.
I am glad his last years were peaceful and happy.
I'm so sorry to hear about your Quincy, Tara. She had a wonderful life being so loved by all of you.
Thinking of you all

I've wondered a few times how Quincy was doing. I'm sorry to hear of her passing.
